Community Center

 We welcome you to the Scottsdale Ranch Community Center where you and your guests or fellow residents can stop to rest from a walk, play a friendly game of cards or host a special event or celebration. Our relaxed atmosphere and well-designed center offers a spacious patio with great views of Lake Serena and the McDowell Mountains. Inside the center, you will find a large glass-enclosed area with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, an intimate setting for all  to enjoy.  The center has a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a refrigerator and freezer, making the service and storage of refreshments for your event even more convenient. The center is available to rent for private functions and meetings.  The SRCA Board approved new open weekday usage for residents. This usage will be on a first-come, first-serve basis (walk-ins only) if there is no prior reservation booked for the facility. No agreement is required.

1. The use of this room is free of charge Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for social groups comprised of at least one Scottsdale Ranch resident who must be present at all times.
2. Restricted usage and exclusivity will not be allowed.
3. Multi-group usage will be encouraged and may be present up to capacity of the room.
4. NO phone calls will be allowed to hold tables.

Usage Fee Rules

Scottsdale Ranch residents/owners can reserve the Community Center for social events and/ or business functions. A building rental fee of $235.00 is charged for a four-hour increment. Rental includes a set-up and breakdown fee. Rental of the Community Center facility includes the use of the furniture, which includes tables and chairs. The propane fireplace is available for an additional $25 charge.The rental time includes the amount of time necessary for the renter to both set-up and breakdown/cleanup the event. Events that exceed the four hour time period are charged $40 per hour.  The maximum number of people the Community Center will seat is 75. The maximum number of people the facility will seat indoors and outdoors, utilizing the patio area, is 125.

A refundable security deposit for $150 is required to complete the reservation which also includes full usage of  our audio equipment. No event will be reserved without a security deposit and a signed Rental Agreement. All cancellations will be charged a $25 administrative fee. A 30-day cancellation notice is required, or the $150 security deposit will be forfeited. The Community Center rental payment is due in full, no less than 30 days in advance of the event.

The Community Center, located at 10585 North 100th Street (SE corner of Shea and 100th St.), is available for use every day by Scottsdale Ranch members.
