Kathe M. Barnes' Biography

Kathe began working for Scottsdale Ranch in 1984 for the developer, Markland Properties; and has been serving in the capacity of Executive Director since 1995. Kathe is well informed of issues, both on Scottsdale Ranch and throughout the City of Scottsdale. Her strong background in management, finance and communications is an asset to the Scottsdale Ranch Community Association.

Kathe stays very active in the community. She is entering her sixth year on the Community Association Institute (CAI) Board of Directors for the local Central Arizona Chapter, appointed President of the Chapter for 2008; and is a member of their Legislative Action Committee and Chair of the Directory Committee. Kathe has earned the professional designations of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), Large Scale Manager (LSM) and Association Management Specialist (AMS). Kathe graduated from Class X of Scottsdale Leadership, an organization that develops the future leaders of tomorrow, once serving on their Board and as past Vice President of Finance. Kathe has also served as Vice Chair on the City of Scottsdale’s Pride Committee, an affiliation of “Keep America Beautiful”. Kathe is a past Board member for the Gridiron Club at Desert Mountain High School.

Kathe enjoys sports, meeting new people, staying active, living in Scottsdale and, most of all, spending valuable time with her family and friends.

Jeff Kidder's Biography

Jeff has done an outstanding job for Scottsdale Ranch since he began in 1999. He brings an extensive background in landscape management to our organization as he worked for 18 years for the Marriott Corporation at the Camelback Golf Club in Paradise Valley as Superintendent of Grounds.

The Association is very privileged to have Jeff leading and managing the activities of the landscape, lake and building departments; maintaining the common area grounds with a high level of standard and commitment.

Jeff is a graduate of Class XVI for Scottsdale Leadership, an organization that develops future leaders of tomorrow. Jeff is currently working towards earning his Association Management Specialist (AMS) designation. Jeff lives in Scottsdale with his wife, Sharon, and three sons, Brett, Tyler and Chad.

Maggie Babetski's Biography

Maggie brings to Scottsdale Ranch eight years of experience working with homeowner associations. Her experience interacting with homeowners provides her the perfect background to act as Liaison for the members of Scottsdale Ranch. Her responsibilities also include working with the Architectural Committee. Originally from Pennsylvania, Maggie has lived in Arizona for the past nine years. She enjoys gardening and working on home improvements with her husband, Richard.

Nicole McConville's Biography

Nicole’s passion to create a positive and active community evolved from both her educational background and previous work experience. Originally, from New Jersey, Nicole received a Bachelors degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Arizona. While attending school, she worked part-time as a Special Events Coordinator, planning several corporate events and assisting with a fundraiser for a non-profit organization. This rewarding experience sparked her deep desire to be actively involved in the community. Upon graduation, Nicole worked for a non-profit organization benefiting at-risk children where her experience continued as she assisted with a variety of fundraising events. Nicole joined our staff in March of 2007 and is responsible for the bi-monthly Scottsdale Ranch magazine, website and all of the social events and programs.  She continues to be committed to establishing unique and rewarding opportunities to connect our community through social events, programs, and volunteerism.
