Community Center


 
The Scottsdale Ranch Community Center is a state of the art facility with picturesque views of both Lake Serena and the McDowell Mountains.  The Center serves as the perfect host for any occasion from: weddings, parties, meetings, seminars and more. With affordable rates and free usage of a wide array of our seating options, our room quickly transforms into your special event.  The Center holds up to 75 guests indoors and increases by 50 to total capacity of 125 when the patio area is utilized.  Rentals include convenient access to our fully equipped kitchen with stainless steal appliances: a 6 burner stove, double oven, large refrigerator and full size freezer that will help manage all of your catering needs.  Audio equipment with both indoor and outdoor speakers, a television set, DVD player, 5 Disc CD player and IPOD hookup, as well as tables and chairs are all included in the rental for your use and enjoyment.  Weather permitting, misters and ceiling fans will help keep you cool on the patio area, while our charming gas fireplace can also be used to help soften the mood and warm you up during the winter months.

 Both residents and non-residents are now able to reserve the Center for their private functions.  The SRCA Board approved new open weekday usage for residents. This usage will be on a first-come, first-serve basis (walk-ins only) if there is no prior reservation booked for the facility. No agreement is required.

  1. The use of this room is free of charge Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for social groups comprised of at least one Scottsdale Ranch resident who must be present at all times.
  2. Restricted usage and exclusivity will not be allowed.
  3. Multi-group usage will be encouraged and may be present up to capacity of the room.
  4. NO phone calls will be allowed to hold tables.

Usage Fee Rules

Scottsdale Ranch residents/owners can reserve the Community Center for social events and/ or business functions. A building rental fee of $235.00 is charged for a four-hour increment. Rental includes a set-up and breakdown fee. Rental of the Community Center facility includes the use of our tables, chairs and kitchen. The propane fireplace is available for an additional $25 charge.The rental time includes the amount of time necessary for the renter to both set-up and breakdown/cleanup the event. Events that exceed the four hour time period are charged $40 per hour.  A refundable security deposit for $150 is required to complete the reservation which also includes full usage of  our audio equipment. No event will be reserved without a security deposit and a signed Rental Agreement. All cancellations will be charged a $25 administrative fee. A 30-day cancellation notice is required, or the $150 security deposit will be forfeited. The Community Center rental payment is due in full, no less than 30 days in advance of the event.

The Community Center is also available for rent to the public and non-residents.  Rates for non-residents are $450 for 4 hours, with each additional hour at $80/hour. A $500 refundable security deposit is also required to reserve the date. An insurance event rider needs to be purchased or the renter must possess a homeowners insurance policy in the amount of $1,000,000 that names SRCA as additionally insured for the event date.
