Scottdale Ranch Park

Located in the heart of Scottsdale Ranch, this 42-acre park includes: a tennis center with 12 lighted tennis courts, 4 lighted racquetball courts, 1 lighted squash court, 6 lighted sand volley ball courts, 1 lighted full basketball court, 2 lighted half basketball courts, 2 lighted baseball fields, 6 reservable picnic ramadas and a 12-station exercise course. For picnic ramada reservations, please call either the Central Facility Booking Office at (480) 312-7707 or the Scottsdale Ranch Park at (480)312-7774. The Park also houses a passive recreational opportunity of the Desert Garden. The Garden encompasses three interpretive zones: a hummingbird nest, a saguaro sanctuary and a butterfly garden. Via Linda Senior Center

Located in Scottsdale Ranch, the Via  Linda Senior Center is home to many activities for the public to enjoy. Classes in fitness, personal development, foreign language, computers and art are all offered. Classes include aerobics, yoga, tai chi, various dance styles, Spanish and French languages, bridge lessons, beginning and advanced computer courses, and a variety of art mediums. The Center also offers regular health screenings of blood pressure, hearing and visions for your convenience. The Center even offers events of movie nights, discussion groups on books and finance, outings to the theater and local restaurants and tourist attractions. Laguna Elementary

This excelling A+ school, located on Scottsdale Ranch has a reputation for academic rigor in a child-centered learning environment that encompasses highly qualified teachers, supportive parent volunteers and motivated students. Open enrollment is always accepted for student’s preschool through fifth grade. The Boys & Girls Club

The Virginia G. Piper branch of the Boys & Girls Club of greater Scottsdale is located just next to Laguna Elementary on Scottsdale Ranch. The facility has been providing quality youth development programs at this location since 1991. The club offers more than 100 quality after-school and summer programs in a positive, safe, supervised environment and are built around five core areas: the arts, character & leadership development, education & career development, health & life skills; and sports, fitness and recreation.
